The Fellowship Class
A place where everyone is welcome.
“Be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”
Matthew 10:16
The purpose of the Fellowship Bible Class is for its members to grow and mature in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and extend His love to those around them. We do this by praying for one another, studying God’s Word and fellowshipping with one another.
FELLOWSHIP
Socials are a great way to get to know one another and make new friends. During the year we attend Gospel Concerts, have conversational dinners, game nights, potluck dinners, picnics and much more. Something new this year is a November 5-day cruise entitled “Singing at Sea” featuring the Booth Brothers. This is a great Christian cruise, plus Christian fellowship and great southern Gospel Music.
PRAYER
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6 Prayer is a very important part of our ABF. Prayer requests are taken in class on Sundays and are prayed for immediately. We also have a Prayer Chain for emergency requests. One phone call will result in many prayers for your need. Once a year we draw names and the person you draw is the one that you pray for during the coming year.
MISSIONS
Fellowship Bible Class is very interested in hearing from and supporting our missionaries. We invite them to our class to share their ministry, their struggles and their needs. Once a month we take a special offering to send to one of our missionaries.
STUDYING GOD’S WORD
“I seek You with all my heart,
do not let me stray from your commands.
I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
Praise be to you, O LORD;
teach me your decrees.”
Psalm 119:10-12
We learn God’s word by studying together. In our class, you are free to ask questions and discuss the topics.
You are welcome to join us on Sundays in room 124 in the school wing. For additional information please contact our class leaders. Rich Berg 630/529-6579
