Friendships

A wide spectrum of people –
Spectrum is an excellent place for those who are new to the church and want to experience an ABF community. It is a relaxed, friendly environment consisting of singles, married couples, and individuals who attend without their spouses. It is open to all ages and stages of life; the new believer is as comfortable as the mature Christian. This type of diversity creates a very interesting, dynamic environment that encourages open discussion and promotes personal growth.

Prayer

A spectrum of prayer –
Spectrum is a praying class. A prayer request sheet is circulated weekly where prayer requests for family or friends may be made. Group prayer time is sometimes a part of our class. We also have a prayer chain in place for those particularly difficult times in our lives when we need to be upheld in prayer by a community of believers - it’s only a call away. Some of our members also participate in the Thursday night Medinah Prayer time. Spectrum class members pray for each other!

Social Events

A wide spectrum of fun –
As most class members agree, “food is our favorite dish!” Spectrum has enjoyed a variety of outings and activities through the years. Barbecues/bonfires in the fall, regular bunko nights, ice cream, brunch, Christmas parties, & more.” We always look forward to opportunities to fellowship together and celebrate God’s love in our lives.

A Spectrum of Light…

Friendships can be a source of light in our lives – particularly when their source is reflective of the one and only true light.

Jesus said, “Behold I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12

Our daily lives can often be clouded
by confusion and an overwhelming
sense of responsibility.
Walk into a spectrum of light every
Sunday morning for a clearer view!
