Awana Registration
WELCOME TO THE 2011-2012 AWANA YEAR!
Wednesday, September 14th at 6:30PM
We have an amazing year planned and it will begin with an ICE CREAM SOCIAL in the Gym. This will be a fun way to meet new people and see old friends. The individual clubs will meet in their rooms at 7:15PM until 8:30PM.
- This Sunday, September 4 and next Sunday, September 11 at the ministry station in the Atrium or up the ramp at the Children’s Ministry Counter
- On-line at www.medinahbaptist.org (download and print-out forms)
- On September 14 – come at 6:30PM and head up the ramp near the Children’s Ministry Counter
Registration Form Supplies and Dues
Many hours of hard work, love, and prayers go into being an Awana Commander and Directors. We, along with our leaders, secretaries, and helpers, desire to make Awana run smoothly, teach your children God’s Word, as well as keep them safe.
The Directors for this year are:
Puggles (Pre-School) - Evelyn Lorence
Cubbies (Ages 3&4) - Sue Thomsen
Sparks (K-2nd Grade) - Kathie Grage
T&T Boys (3rd – 6th Grade) - Marc Corwin
T&T Girls (3rd – 6th Grade) - Lynne Walli & Laura Scott
Trek / Journey (7th, 8th, HS) - LeAnn LaBorn (meet at 5:30PM-6:15PM)
We have additional programs for Jr. High and High School students. GAP meets on
Tuesdays for Jr. High Students (6th – 8th Grade) and NETWORK meets on Thursdays for
High School Students. Both programs meet from 7:00PM – 8:30PM.
We also are offering a development program for those students who want to be Awana leaders (L.I.T.’s – leaders in training) and need a little help in the transition between clubber to leader. This program will take place during the regular Awana programs on Wednesdays.
I, along with all our Directors and Leaders, are so excited to get to know you and your children this year. If there is anything that we can do to get you information, answer questions, or encourage you, we are happy to do it!
