About Me
Our family's transition to launch a new mission outreach to the military in Virginia is quickly approaching. We praise God for His goodness to us during this time. After almost ten years of partnering with chaplains and local churches to share the love of Christ with sailors at Naval Station Great Lakes, we have officially handed over all of our responsibilities.
Our focus now is on developing key contacts, curriculum, and tools that will be needed to launch a new outreach to the Jr. enlisted service members in the Hampton Roads area. As well, we need to sell our home and raise additional funds before moving.
Prayer Requests and Praises
- We praise God for His goodness to us during this transition! God has provided a nearly seamless transition for my replacement at Great Lakes. Gabriel Garriga, an Army Veteran, will be graduating from Trinity this semester and has assumed all of my GL duties. By God’s grace, Gabe will faithfully serve as a missionary at GL for years to come.
- God continues to make our path straight and way clear. In His kindness we have received many confirmations of this.
- We have been meeting with many of our local church's small groups this month. It has been wonderful to share the vision that God has given us and stories from the mission in so many Care Groups.
- Please pray that our home sells quickly. We desire to move this spring.
- Please pray that our monthly financial support goal will be quickly raised. We are now at 78% of our goal.
- Please pray for wisdom and favor as we begin to develop the key contacts, curriculum, and tools that will be needed to launch a new outreach in VA.
