About Me
Milton accepted Christ in 1978 through the witness of a high school friend. He became involved in a local church in the Roseland community and began to grow in his faith. He met some Campus Crusade staff on his college campus, Chicago State University in 1979. They began to disciple him and challenged him to attend a summer missions project in the city – just three blocks from where he lived!
After that first summer of being involved in ministry in his own “neighborhood”, Milton knew that God was calling him into full-time ministry. He met Cynthia in 1982 and they were married in 1984. He graduated from Chicago State University in 1985 with a degree in Business Administration.
Milton and Cynthia joined full time staff with Campus Crusade in 1986 and were assigned to Chicago. Currently, Milton serves as the City Director for Here’s Life Inner- City/Chicago (the compassionate urban ministry of Campus Crusade). He serves a team of 11 full-time staff, helps give national direction for Here’s Life Inner-City and speaks in various settings on behalf of the ministry.
Cynthia accepted Christ in 1982 through the witness of a co-worker. She graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Accounting and worked for Allstate Insurance Company for five years before joining staff with her husband. Cynthia currently serves as the Development Coordinator for the ministry at the Agape Community Center, responsible for overseeing the fund-raising efforts of the ministry.
The Massies have two children, Zachary and Sarah. They live in the Roseland community, just a five-minute walk from the Agape Center.
