Medinah Baptist Church loves children! And our desire is to introduce young children to Jesus Christ at an early age. Our mission statement: to support the family in raising up the next generation of men andwomen who faithfully love, follow and worship Jesus Christ not only with their heads, but also with their hearts. NURSERY

This is often where a child begins his or her journey through Kids Praise. Volunteers minister to families by providing a warm, caring and safe environment for children newborn through 3 years of age. Each of our nurseries cares for a specific age group with appropriate developmental toys and activities. In the nursery, children learn that God loves them through Bible stories, songs, games and crafts. Each child is prayed for every week.
Available at 9:00am and 10:30am


EARLY CHILDHOOD

This is an active place where 3 year olds through kindergarten children participate in hands on activities to give them a variety of  experiences so they can begin to lay spiritual foundations. They sing, learn about God's love through Bible stories and object lessons, play, and craft making.

ELEMENTARY

This is an engaging place that is energy-pumped as kids 1st through 5th grades discover the love of Christ. Kids learn, apply and experience concrete examples of who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. Both volunteers and kids have a blast as they grow stronger in their faith and as a community.
Available at 9:00am and 10:30am.


Kids' Praise & Worship Hour

This is a program for 1st -5th graders involving games, Bible drills, and activities teaching them how to worship God and study their Bibles.  It takes place during the 10:30AM service in room 124.


AWANA

Every Wednesday evening, Awana Clubs offer an energetic atmosphere that engages kids in games, Bible memory work and Bible lessons. Age-appropriate programs are available for preschool through 5th grade.
Available Wednesdays 6:45pm-8:30pm September thru May


TABLE TOP FAMILY FUN IDEAS

  • Board Games
  • Indoor planting - plant vegetable seeds indoors and enjoy eating them
  • Music party - everyone chooses a favorite song, and the rest of the family has to listen to the entire song
  • Read/Tell a story - family members can act out the parts
  • Treasure Hunt - provide clues to find a treasure
  • Movie Night - to spice it up, make up a food related to the movie
